The Brewery Square development is a conversion of the Eldridge Pope Brewery on Weymouth Avenue in Dorchester and covers an area of 11.5 acres.

The development offers major mixed-use residential and commercial buildings, providing 136 apartments across Pope Street, Copper Crescent, Eldridge Street and Hop House. The 6-storey residential apartments have 15 retail units located to the edge of the ground floor providing a mix of local amenities along with an underground car park.

Smoke Control Solutions were delighted to be invited to supply, install and commission the AOV smoke ventilation system, on this high profile £27m development. The installation was completed to Phase 2b over 5 blocks that were named after brewery names such as Cooperage and Barley.
